THE MATRIX
the thing i find so interesting about the whole ‘escaping from the matrix’ rhetoric that many men push these days, is that all they mean is just becoming rich. escaping the ‘matrix’ is literally just…. being wealthy. it’s interesting because they too recognise that there’s some sort of unfair system that is keeping them in this economic position of poverty, what we would consider the lower working class; but then they mistakenly identify the system as this made up concept of the matrix rather than the extreme form of corporate capitalism that our society has cultivated
by using this made up concept as their scapegoat for what was keeping them poor they are then able to justify utilising the system in (often) unethical ways to become rich also what i notice is that one of the most common thing they teach in those “get rich quick!” e-courses is dropshipping—which is unstable but lucrative which sometimes works out? seems kinda retarded but good for them tho ik a lot of the time its getting commodities from exploitative/inhumane labor or shit like that probs why you’re able to get it for so cheap and then resell it for such high profit margins
theyll never recognise the system as unethical because they’ve already escaped the REAL naughty system.. t-the matrix !! they just aren’t burdened by it as much as before because now they have money and can stay on top of the heap themselves. they just came up with a euphemism for it to justify exploiting it in unethical ways and avoid taking blame bc not realising where they fit into the equation
i mean like if it works thats fucking based id do it too if i had the motivation but at least be honest no point in repackaging what ur doing to make it sound better when it all comes down to the same shit in the end its just inherently much better to be at the very least educated if you still believe this shit, bc the matrix literally isn’t real. plz get a grip, we live in a shitty economic system and its easier 2 be aware of that instead of pinning it on something that came out of a romanian sex traffickers’ podcast also random point but i’d actually go as far as to say people avoid looking too deep into shit like this even if it’s blatantly obvious - maybe because they don’t want to come close to any sort of traditionally ‘liberal’ viewpoint; perhaps simply bc of the connotations that word/alignment holds
it’s pretty much just repackaged populism as well, think about people like donald trump & andrew tate who actively try and convince their audience a far bigger and terrifying force is preying on the common man and facilitating his downfall. its incredibly humorous & can be reduced to a simple case of the pot calling the kettle black—they are actively trying to convince you that they are one of you, just a common dude who started from nothing, making their own success from the ground up whilst fighting against the ‘elite’ that they are innately still apart of
that’s not to say i don’t believe in the existence of the elite cuz i very much do but it definitely shld be said that these people are just an extension of that. 100% of these people are literally born into wealth & status too, they make these claims not because they empathise with you and seek your betterment, but because you are products; malleable consumers who are willing to bite the bait as soon as the line drops into your pond
