garden of eden

so lemme get one thing straight...

men are supposed to wage war against material society for their happiness. their assigned role alienated them from more abstract, emotional ideals, and demanded them to place production as their ideal. after this goal is met, they must struggle with this alienation, coming to terms with deeply desiring something they ultimately cannot have, often per the social contract they signed. they repress this realisation usually, their conditioning is too great. they perish with hatred in their hearts, overwhelmed that the world fed them a lie as to what to value, and an emotional prison to prevent them finding the truth all out of uncaring utilitarianism

women on the other hand are supposed to wage war against the ideals of society. while material society offers them ‘comfort’, they will find that this comfort is hollow, conditional and actively insulting to their sense of personhood. they must fight to demand more, to be recognised beyond their simple physical presence. and though they may fight, society moves slowly, and the objectification of their self they so deeply despise will ultimately remain upon their death. and their death, when it comes, will be marked by an angst of which they could’ve been ‘so much more’ had society treated them as humans

both are supposed to be fundamentally tragic characters who are thrust into agony and forced to endure it for an entire lifespan; with the irony being that they blame systems that craft their problems, all while functioning as integral parts of that very system. and yet, strangely, no singular one is at fault

also just to be clear NONe of this applies to me or the people i like. we r quite literally built different and engage in none of this weird tragedy stuff. me and the homies here to have fun and make jokes. rest of yall be safe out there tho 🙏🙏
